Pro-Tips for Applying Pointe Shellac

1. POUR IT IN! Don't be scared; it won't behave like glue. The shellac will absorb into the burlap layers of the box and re-harden your pointe shoe. We recommend pouring for about 2 seconds, though this may vary depending on your shoe size and amount desired.

2. After pouring, use the applicator wand to distribute the shellac evenly, so you can get a solid coat inside your toe box. This will prevent pooling and any gunked-up corners.

3. Allow the shellac to dry fully overnight, and then you're ready to go!

Need a quick fix? Applying directly with the applicator wand is still a great option. Add all the layers you need; it won't build up and dig into the foot like glue!
